The Service Company (TSC) is an Odoo consulting and integration company. Mensavo is its suite of modules for the financial and administrative management of secondary schools: it installs in Odoo 19, where the bursar's invoices and payments are recorded with their accounting codes.

The need

A secondary school collects money all year round

Meals, photocopies, swimming, day trips, school trips: these receipts often go through cash, envelopes, a spreadsheet and a canteen software that talks neither to the accounts nor to the pupil database. The bursar re-keys data, parents see little, and unpaid invoices surface late.

Mensavo puts the pupil's balance, card payment, the invoice and its collection in a single Odoo database. Each movement keeps its origin, from the meal booking to its accounting code, and is exported to the school's accounting software.

The technical base

Odoo 19 modules, installed in the school's database

  • Built for Odoo 19 Community. General accounting stays in the accounting software in place, or in the same database with Odoo Enterprise.
  • Belgian chart of accounts, structured payment reference and import of camt.053 or OFX bank statements.
  • The families portal is a separate application, written for the phone, distinct from Odoo's standard portal.
  • The back office carries the Mensavo colours and opens on a screen grouping the user's applications.

What we prepare with your team

  1. Connection to the existing pupil database.
  2. Taking over balances and cards from the current tool.
  3. Integrating a till or a copier already in place.
  4. Setting up the bank accounts, tariffs and fees.
